Our startup is focused on reducing post-harvest losses by leveraging technology to optimize the utilization of existing cold storages and warehouses across the state. A significant portion of agricultural produce is lost every year due to inefficient storage and lack of real-time data. We aim to solve this problem by introducing a live inventory management system that ensures dynamic space management, improves visibility, and enhances decision-making across the post-harvest supply chain. Through our platform, cold storage and warehouse operators can monitor available space in real-time, track produce movement, and plan storage more efficiently based on crop type, volume, and perishability. This helps prevent overstocking, underutilization, and spoilage, leading to better outcomes for all stakeholders. Farmers and Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) can access storage as a service, plan harvest logistics, and avoid distress selling by temporarily holding produce under proper conditions. Our system also offers alerts, analytics, and integration with transport services to ensure timely movement and delivery of produce. By digitizing and streamlining storage infrastructure, we aim to build a connected post-harvest ecosystem that supports the government’s mission of improving agricultural productivity, increasing farmer income, and reducing food waste. We are committed to working in collaboration with government departments to integrate existing public and private storage assets and bring transparency and efficiency to the supply chain. We seek support in piloting and scaling this model across the state, particularly in high-production zones, to create long-term impact in agricultural sustainability and rural development.
