Samocha : Stories Around Chai, is a tea cafe chain, primarily focusing on fresh and hygienic preparation of tea. Tea is a very big market in India. But finding a fresh and hygienic cup of chai in a cafe setting is still difficult. We started Samocha way back in 2017 after leaving our jobs in orders to serve people with wide range of fresh teas, and great tasting snacks, all prepared in a hygienic setting. We introduced people with wide range of milk and green teas, sourced directly from tea gardens. The idea is to serve fresh chai, in a cozy ambience where people can read books, discuss ideas and relax. The brand is certified by Tea Board of India for its quality of teas. While the whole F&B business was most impacted during COVID, we at Samocha have made sure positive growth. We are currently at 12 outlets and growing every year. We have our own brand of packaged teas too which is known as Tea Origin. This brand is available on Amazon, Flipkart and other ecommerce portals. With this, we try to deliver great experience to people across india, not just limited to our cafes. Freshness, Hygienic Preparation and Quality teas in a cozy cafe is the base of our business model.
