Our project is based on doubling farmers income by bridging the gap in mango cultivation value chain through the latest technological intervention. Presently the Pruning of trees are not given importance and neglected after every harvesting resulting in a large canopy low yield and infestation. Pruning stimulates new growth leading to more fruiting branches. It helps regulate fruit size color and sugar content. Pruning encourages early flowering and fruiting resulting in better fruit quality and quantity which can boost market value. It reduces maintenance and promotes the tree health extending its productive lifespan. Removes infected or damaged branches reducing disease spread pest control and reduces fungal infection. The Pruning maintains tree size promoting easy harvesting and management. We are developing an AI based mechanized pruning system where drones equipped with sensors and super sensitive cameras capture 3D image of the trees. It creates the real time picture of the tree and generates a suggestive pruning area based on SOPs issued by the CISH. It also works simultaneously on AI data and real time scientist feedback to generate suggestive Pruning Portion. It keeps improving on precision data and TAT. The software transmits the data to the Pruning machine for the action.
