ToolX is our innovation that provides a way to prevent iatrogenic nerve injuries in patients by identifying nerve tissue in the path of surgical tool. ToolX runs on optical technology that captures and analyses the changes in optical parameters of light near the tip of a surgical tool. It can detect the proximity of a neural structure in the path of the surgical tool using the unique optical parameters of a nerve tissue, thereby, preventing iatrogenic nerve injury.
