Dhara is agri biotech startup which works on sustainable solutions for twin problems of waste management and high input cost of agriculture with insects playing central role in it . Dhara focuses on collection of biodegradable waste ( approx 45% of total waste generated) and converting that into bio proteins, bio fertiliser and bio diesel etc. We perform this process by simulating an artificial environment for insects ( such as Black soldier fly, Superworms , Mealworms etc ) and feeding these insects on waste collected thus transforming waste to value and promoting circular economy, we are committed to build , innovate sustainable, scalable solutions that contributes to greener earth USP of Dhara lies in innovative use of insects cycle and converting waste to wealth -
1. Collection of waste and directly converted to bio products and charging the high rise , business to get net zero emissions.
2 . As bio protein and bio fertilisers use raw material as waste , the cost of products are half of the market prize eg. BSF larvae as feed for poultry and fishery livestock will cost ?25/kg instead of Normal feed (?45/kg ) with same nutrients .
Bio fertiliser for farmers BPL will be available at ?9/kg which contains all the essentials micro and macro nutrients..Dhara Agro has two revenue streams categorized under 1) B2B - At B2B we charge the residential societies and business for collection and treatment of their waste also , At B2B we provide consultancy to business for their treatment and segregation of waste produced and creation of circular economy .2) B2C- At B2C startup generates revenue by selling the products that is organic fertilizer and insects reared to the customers involved in farming and livestock farms .
