Rising electricity costs and frequent power cuts make daily life and business operations difficult in rural India. Conventional solar plants are expensive, and subsidy-based solar panels are even costlier. The processes for claiming subsidies and net metering are complex. Grid-connected solar systems do not provide power during grid outages, resulting in wasted solar energy. There are no major subsidies available for battery-based solar systems. Additionally, traditional cooking with wood and biomass fuels causes severe indoor air pollution and health hazards. Finally, the lack of rural EV charging infrastructure hinders the adoption of E-Rickshaws in villages. We are making solar energy affordable by eliminating energy wastage in DC-AC-DC conversions, removing inverters, DC-AC Earthing, net meters, and reducing system capacity. Innovations in DC induction cookers, DC LED lights, and DC BLDC motor-based appliances like fans and water pumps reduce energy wastage and overall costs by approximately 30%. Non-DCR panels are 30% cheaper. Our new cooking system is clean and pollution-free, eliminating all the drawbacks of traditional cooking. EBOX is our lithium innovative battery energy storage solution with an MPPT, BMS, and other controllers, providing power 24 hours a day, unlike the power cuts experienced with on-grid systems. Costs can be minimized by limiting energy-intensive applications, such as cooking, to between 9 AM and 4:30 PM. Lithium batteries are environmentally friendly, have a long lifespan, and offer high energy density. Additionally, developing rural solar DC EV charging infrastructure with swappable battery stations will promote the adoption of electric vehicles in rural areas, significantly improving the village economy.
