Current Project Topic :Optimization of Biogas Generation to Distribution Process(Selected in prelim stage under RKVY-RAFTAAR Scheme of Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare). Problem Statement ? Problem related to inadequate knowledge among biogas users ? Problems Related to the Technical Weakness in Plant Design ? Problems Related to Inadequate Marketing Facilities for Biogas Plants/ Products . Proposed Solution: ? We will keep in mind these issues as stated previously and try to resolve most of them to make the whole process (biogas generation to distribution) efficient and cost effective. ? The aim of optimization is to adjust the actual state of a process with regard to a certain property through variation of influencing factors ? In general terms, operation of a biogas plant can be optimized in three areas: ? Biogas Generation (Technical, Economic and Environmental Impact ) ? Operational (Installation, Maintenance & Repair) and ? Distribution ( Communication channel, Marketing & Slurry Management) ? It is expected that there will be many different solutions. The various possible solutions can then be compared with each other on the basis of evaluation criteria. The criteria used for evaluation can include: ? Costs ? Gas yield ? Environmental impacts ? Communication channel ? Maintenance ? Byproduct (Utilization of Slurry)
